If you read the journal, scratch that . I will be keeping the old system and getting rid of the submission journal. It is getting too long and its too much to keep up with.

I realized I never said this, Welcome to all the new members. We have had so many new people join recently. The asylum is getting so full! I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a contest, the prizes will be a feature in the club journal. If anyone else would like to donate something that would be awesome. If people want to do this then I will post the rules soon. Please comment on this journal to let me know.

Welcome to the Fanfiction Asylum, a haven for people who are either read fanfics or are writers themselves and would like to promote their stories. We accept all Fanfiction whether it be anime/manga, books, Tv, comics ect. This is a brand spanking new club and I hope to get many people to join, once we have enough members we will be having contests, they will probably be centered around a theme that way everyone from every fandom will be able to write something. Suggestions for contests are always open

Fanfiction Terms:
A/U: Alternate universe
OC: Original Character
DeathFic: Story in which one of the characters dies
SongFic” Story that centers around lyrics
Lemon: contains sexual content
Lime: Implications of sexual content but nothing graphic
Yaoi: MalexMale sexual content
Yuri: Femalexfemale sexual content
shounen ai: BoyXboy relationship
shoujo ai: GirlXgirl Relationship
Crack: Humorous fic usually doesn’t make sense in the fandom
Crossover: Two or more fandoms meeting in the same story
H/C: Hurt/Comfort
OS: One-Shot
If I forgot any please let me know either by note or comment on the journal

**Rules to Join**
1. You must like fanfiction
2. No Flaming allowed (constructive criticism is allowed though)
(You will be banned if you break rule one or two)
3. You can only submit Fanfiction, sorry no regular fiction

**How to Join**
1. Send a note to the club entitled “I think I am going Insane”
2. In the note put why you like to write/read fanfics
3. Watch the club (and we will watch you)
4. Put our icon in you signature or journal for all to see
5. Please do not ask to join in a comment they will not be accepted

**How to Submit Writings**
1. Send a note entitled “My Fanfic”
2. Put the Title in the Note
3. In the note put what fandom it belongs to(ie Harry Potter, Naruto ect)
4. Put the rating, we use the fiction ratings:

Fiction Rated: K (Intended for general audience. Content should be free of any coarse language,
violence, and adult themes.
Fiction Rated: K+ (minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse
language. Should not contain any adult themes)
Fiction Rated: T (Suitable for teens, some violence, minor coarse language, and minor
suggestive adult themes)
Fiction Rated: M (Not suitable for children or teens below the age of 16 with possible strong
adult themes, violence, and coarse language.)


5. And Finally put a link to the story
6. Also put any “Fanfiction Terms” you want so we can put them in the comments section. (optional)
7. You may also include some authors notes you wish for us to include. (optional) You may also include links to the story on other websites.
