let us know that they are the new Community Volunteer for the Fan Fiction gallery. So if anyone has any piece of fanficiton they wanted to suggest for a DD let her know. Be sure to check out his page for the DD Suggestion Guidelines and how to suggest one.

Gallery is now open!
Thanks for being patient everyone while the admins and I reorganized the gallery. I know some people didn't know which folder to submit some deviations since a fandom may have movies and books and other stuff. Everything has been submitted into a folder based on the original source material. For example "Harry Potter" is under the folder "Books - Fantasy/Sci-Fi" If you wish to submit something that is not based on the original source material you may submit it into a folder you feel is most appropriate. For example the Percy Jackson series, since the book and movie are completely different and you based it on the movie you may submit it into

Thanks for all the comments, although I didn't respond I did read them all. Unfortunately I don't have time to run another subgroup and it would get tricky if we decide to run any contests and such. As for the subfolders idea its great, but we need to be a super group for that to happen and I don't have the money for that. So as a result I will condense the folders into media genre's. the folders will be as follows:
Anime/manga - Shounen
Anime/manga - Shoujo
Anime/Manga - other
Books- Fantasy/Sci-Fi
Books- Action/Adventure
Books- Mystery/Suspense
Books- Non-Fiction
Movies - Fantasy/Sci-Fi
Movies - Action/Adventure
Movies - Mystery/Suspe
An update
Wow, I got so many comments on the last journal which is surprising since we are not a very active group. After talking it over with a few people I have decided that I will not be changing the group, yet. Many people were against the change and I can see why and agree with many of their reasons.
I have figured something out with the groups though, Co-founders are able to create folders whereas the title my helpers held (contributors) cannot. So since I have figured this out my helpers will be promoted to Co-founders and they will be able to help create folders. This would be help to ensure the club stays active and organized. Perhaps in the

Hello to everyone. I would like to apologize for the lack of updates and the slow responses to everything. I've been very busy but I want to be more active.
Also I was thinking of overhauling the Asylum here. While I am happy that so many people have joined and we have such a large variety of Fandoms in our gallery, we have so many folders that I'm having trouble updating because it slows down my computer so much. ^^;
I was thinking about making a set folders, perhaps that would mimic the categories from FF.net. So we would have: Anime/Manga, Books, Cartoons, Comics, Games, Misc, Movies, Plays/Musicals, TV Shows. And you would submit to the
